How often do you respond to staff calls?: I personally think this depends on the amount of staff that are online at the time. If there are already staff that are on duty while I am RP'ing, then I would let them respond to the call. However, if I were on duty OR the only staff member online, I would respond to the call as quickly as I could. The only times I would wait to respond would be times when I'm in a sit, raiding, or being raided, AKA other things that I needed to attend to immediately.
How do you react to different kinds of rule breakers?: For rdmers, I would first bring both players into a sit and hear both sides of the story in what went down. After hearing both sides of the story, I would administer the appropriate punishment based on how many people were rdmed. 1 kill, warn. 2 kills, warn. 3+ kills would result in a warn then kick. Also, if the accused continues their malicious actions, then it would result in a kick or ban, depending on the severity of the situation. For CDM, the same would apply. For propkillers, I would check to see if it was intentional, and then issue a warn if it was. Further prop killing would result in a kick, then ban if it continued. Finally, minges would first be verbally warned, then !warn 'd, then a kick, then a ban, all of these increasing in severity if the minging continued.
How many hours can you devote to the Server per week? Will this increase?: Depending on extra-curriculars such as rehearsals/shows for a production I am currently in and the amount of homework I have daily, I can probably contribute between 10-20 hours per week. This will increase as each quarter ends for my school year and I have less shows. Plus, long breaks like winter break which is arriving in just a few weeks will allow me to play more.
Do you know all the commands and abilities you have as a staff member?: Yes I do! I have been staff on many other servers and know all about ULX and FAdmin
Have you donated?: I have! $18 custom class (Defalt) !
Are you generally liked around the server? Who dislikes you?: So far, I think I have a decently positive reputation on the server. Sadly, I have not gotten to know as many people yet I have wanted to but I plan to speak with everyone if possible over time.
Have you ever accidentally abuse you powers, if not what would you do in this situation?: There have been a small amount times on previous servers where you could say I have accidentally "abused" my powers. However, in any and all times that this did/does happen, I try my absolute hardest to resolve the situation immediately and apologize for my actions.
Do you have a working microphone?: Yes!
Why do you feel like you deserve this application/promotion?: I feel like I deserve to be accepted because I think I can bring a lot of good ideas to this server that others might not be able to bring. As you might have been able to tell from previous answers, I am a theater kid. As a theater kid, at almost any moment, we're pushed to think on the spot of good ideas to benefit you and your cast. This along with general communication with others, another skill that's used frequently in theater, can be applied to so many things outside of a theater setting. For example, this server. I'm always thinking up new ideas that could benefit myself, and my cast (This community). When I see an opportunity to help a cause that has potential, I jump on the opportunity as soon as possible because I know that I can help. This server is my opportunity, and I want to help.
How did you find this server?: I found this server by random chance, believe it or not. I was just jumping on random DarkRP servers to have fun and, ta-da, I end up here.
How are you suppose to react in an admin situation?: In an admin situation, one of the most important things to do is to stay composed, mature, and listen. When in sits, paying attention to what everyone is saying and getting every detail about the problem you can is key. Once you have every bit of information, it's completely up to you to decide what happens. So, what I do is, as I said earlier and now, hear both sides of the story, and get every detail you can. Then, check logs (If we have them/when we get them) to see if what the victim and accused are saying is true, then issue the appropriate punishment based on the "crime" and severity of said crime.
Thank you for reading my application!
